Evie's Rudder No More !
What a shock! I had no clue as I slid through Smiths Cove past the Rudder Restaurant. You see The "Rudder" was my late aunt's buisness for many years,her pride & joy. Her place where she could be herself and entertain the patrons.Gone are the days of "Knuckles O'Toole" at the piano. Being graced with the likes of Judy Garland and Peter Faulk coming in for a bite. Sports luminaries such as Shaquille O'Neal "The Shaq" and coach Patrick Riley stopped in.But it looks like a new Rudder is taking shape. New memories for the new owners,I wish them well!
Amazing photos: I've bookmarked your post. I'm a hydrologist down here in the Everglades ... but spent 4 years on Cape Cod a life time ago. Massachusetts is a great state!
ReplyDeleteHey Jay, thanks for the pics of The Rudder from the water. Since the boat will be coming out of teh water I guess we will have to wait til next spring for some updated shots of teh new Ruddah!
