Hot & Humid & Hazy

The three H's....Dogs tongues hang and drip type of weather. When I enter my boat at the dock the helm is like a greenhouse with it surrounded by an eisenglass & canvas enclosure. As soon as I un-zip the enclosure it feels like the AC is on,but only for a moment. Even the outer harbor is no relief from the humidity. You gotta get at least 3 miles out before the cooling breezes off the water takes hold. And that's what I do. Cut the engine, drop a line overboard and kick back and listen to sports talk radio.I'll stay out there 2-3 hours if not catching fish....catching a cool breeze. I think of that last line in the credit card commercial,"Priceless" 'cause I don't wanna think how much it costs for gas!
All but the yacht and outboard on this next series of photo's are from my return trip. I always like to take a tour of the harbor coming in.
