It didn't look good on the radar screen but I saw a possible window to head out and document the Fiesta. The plan was to check out the USS Whidbey Island, the 609' LPD-41 and then anchor near the greasy pole. After about 20 minutes it was clear that the sky's could cause havoc.And with high tide the "pole" was obscured by lobster boats anchored too close to the platform to get any decent shots. Lightning all around and what looked like funnel clouds made my mind up to haul anchor and head back to the dock.
