Morning Views and a Pond Makeover!

My 20 year old Koi pond was leaking. One problem is I can't use tap water to keep it full because the chemical make up the City of Gloucester uses will kill the fish! I have a 55 gallon rainwater barrel plumbed to the pond to keep it fresh but if we go any stretch without rain my only option once the barrel is empty is to lug 5 gallon buckets from the brook near my house. Not good for my back. I did just buy a pump to eliminate that chore. Anyway it was time to fix the pond and figured the best way is to install a liner over the plastic insert. That's just what we did after a lot of pruning and moving the surrounding stone work. And my 20 year old Koi "Mr. Fishy" is happy!
