Struggling Sun and New Asphalt!

Most mornings around here have been foggy this past week. Also it was time for a new walkway and drive way. My house was built in 1958 and it was finally time to replace those. After I got a new Ford F-150 in 2017 it was apparent the driveway was not wide enough for that and my wife's Jeep. My passenger side tires were sitting on the grass and slowly sinking. Back in December we got a new fence and purposely moved the original fence line about two feet to allow plenty of parking room.

Looking For Solitude!

The Summer is certainly a busy time on Cape Ann with the influx of tourist. Working the overnight shift affords me the opportunity to enjoy the solitude of daybreak and the dead of night!

Low Tide to High Tide!

During the week we were hit with a nasty T-storm which did damage in Annisquam. And we all heard the sad news out of Texas and Ohio Saturday. On Sunday an environmental group conducted a mock funeral for Mother Earth complete with black coffins at Good Harbor Beach. A poor choice of time and place, all in view of children and families enjoying a day at the beach.

Shocking Good Harbor Beach!
