Fog, Sun and a Tropical Storm!

I'm back, I usually post Sundays just after midnight but last week I had to work and didn't have enough images to create one. During that time we had some fog, sun on the last day of Summer and Tropical Storm Jose.  Luckily Jose turned out to be a pesky nor'easter with nothing more than wind and rain. As far as I know Cape Ann didn't suffer any power outages and the only damage was a boat which broke off its mooring and sunk in Smith Cove.

2017 Gloucester Schooner Festival!

This was the first time in years I wasn't on the water for the Parade of Sail. I was trying to figure how to get shots from shore that afforded me as many background options as possible. On the water I could utilize the position of the sun and scenery being able to re-position my location 360 degrees. This time I choose my work location, the Beauport Hotel. I started off on the roof but found the lower deck the ideal shore location. I started with Saturday nights fireworks.
