School Bus Washes Up In Gloucester!

The heavy wet snow that fell Sunday night coated everything it stuck to. With that in mind I headed to Eastern Point to get some shots. To my horror while walking the rock strewn path to the Breakwater I noticed a school bus washed up! Luckily no one was inside, the only contents was seaweed and some salt grass. After notifying the authorities I learned the bus had been stolen! The bus belonged to the North Shore School of Herring and was stolen during the February vacation. A Hermit Crab(His name withheld due to his age)was taken into custody and Judge Gray T. Flounda handed down a 30 day sentence to be served in a clear plastic bottle at the Folly Cove House of Correction! The Hermit Crab was sent "up the river" after confessing he took the bus for a joy ride and lost control during Blizzard "Nemo"!

Damage was minimal.

Looking up.

Large swells hit the Breakwater.

My plan was to walk out there to shoot the lighthouse but with 15' swells coming in at high tide prevented that!

I would of got wet!

Probably swept overboard!

It was wise to take the high ground!

From Sun to Snow!

Third weekend in a row with snow! This time with out the wind and it was a heavy wet sticky snow. Earlier in the week we had sunshine that did a lot of meltage from the previous snow storms. I guess that's Mother Nature's way of making more room for the white stuff!
