Spirit In The Night!

It was one of those perfect nights that I couldn't pass up. No wind, low 60's and a clear night makes shooting along the waterfront peaceful. But while roaming around looking for subjects a song by Bruce Springsteen came over the radio. It was perfect..."Spirit In The Night", hence the title of this post!
After sunset!

Life On The Dock !

I bet there are Gloucester natives that really don't know what goes on at the docks. It's busy, hectic and sometimes fun working the docks, it can be dangerous to! And surprises happen more often than not making time there go quick. Boats come in to land their catch all hours, a few times I was called for a 3:00am landing. That's a magical time, driving through town you are lucky to see one person up at that hour but when you get near the dock the hustle and bustle appears. Within an hour or two the harbor comes alive with the small "day boats" start to head out for a day of fishing.
Now it's time to brag! One of my photos is now gracing the cover of the 2012/13 "Discover Gloucester" Visitors Guide!
