River Trip Cut Short, Not By Weather!

But by Greenheads! I got as far as the end of Wheelers Point when I was attacked by hungry stinging Greenheads! With river speed limits at 5 mph the temptation to hit the throttle was almost over-powering! Trying to navigate and take photos while these horsefly like demons buzzed around my head and ankles was a challenge to say the least. I came about and headed back to the harbor. Once back through the A.Piatt Andrew Bridge, the onsluaght subsided.

Good Harbor Beach in the Fog & Leftovers!

I've been working on a new slideshow for the next Block Party and during the process I came across more photos of SailGloucester that I previously ignored. And today with heavy morning downpours ending around noon I headed to Good Harbor beach to see what the weather brought.

Cruise Ship & Young Sailors!

A small coastal cruise ship "American Glory" entered Gloucester harbor this morning and is tied up at the Cruiseport. Young sailors enjoyed the breeze and young Greasy Pole walkers practiced for the future. And at 5:30pm Good Harbor Beach is packed!
